How does the free trial work?

Eligible new subscribers receive one calendar month free. Apple determines eligibility and shows the local renewal price before purchase. Cancel a trial at least 24 hours before its end if you do not want it to renew. Follow the access end date Apple displays; do not assume a canceled trial remains available.

What exactly does it cost?

US pricing is $4.99/month, renewing until canceled. Child profiles are included; adult access is explained below. Your local price and offer eligibility appear before purchase. Apple handles billing.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions > ChoreRally Plus. Deleting the app or your ChoreRally account does not cancel Apple billing. Read Apple’s cancellation instructions.

What happens to our family data if we stop paying?

It stays yours. Existing chores, rewards, wallets and history keep working — children can still complete chores and parents can still approve them. Adding new chores, rewards or child profiles needs an active subscription, and you can export a family backup at any time. Nothing is deleted because a subscription lapses.

Does each child need a paid account?

No. Children are restricted profiles inside the parent-owned household, covered by the one subscription.

Does another parent pay again?

Child profiles are included. Approved adults can use a connected family plan after completing Family access and verifying the active plan. Joining alone does not grant paid access. Families still using Apple subscription sharing need an eligible purchase or Apple Family Sharing access. Do not buy a second plan just to troubleshoot. Follow the family access checklist.

Are Chore Bucks real money?

No. They are virtual family points with no cash value and cannot leave ChoreRally.
