Delete your ChoreRally account.

A parent can permanently delete an account directly in the app. Support can help if you cannot reach the in-app control.

Fastest option

Delete inside the app.

  1. Open ChoreRally and sign in to a parent profile.
  2. Open More, then Settings.
  3. Find Account & Privacy.
  4. Choose Delete ChoreRally Account.
  5. Review the scope shown by the app, enter the parent PIN and DELETE, and confirm the permanent action. For an online account, review the cloud and local data selections before choosing Delete online account now.

For an online account, the app reports online deletion acceptance and online data erasure separately from iCloud removal, local removal, Apple sign-in cleanup and purchase follow-up. Use Check deletion recovery for unfinished steps. An accepted request does not mean every device or backup has been erased. For a local household, the owner’s deletion removes its connected private family data; a participating adult removes their own account and access without deleting the owner’s family.

Account and family records

Review the account and family scope before confirming. Online account data, selected iCloud data and selected local data have separate removal results. Check the app’s status and recovery screen for completion.

On device

Local app data and proof

Confirmed local removal deletes selected app records and managed proof photos from that device. Other devices and exported backups are not erased by removing this app. Do not uninstall while deletion recovery is unfinished.

Support and legal records

Deletion-request correspondence may be retained only as needed to complete the request, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. It is not used for advertising.

Deletion is permanent. A JSON backup can be generated before deletion, but restoring that file later creates new local app data and does not restore deleted iCloud data. Reconnecting an existing subscription later restores paid access only, not deleted accounts or family data. Deleting a ChoreRally account does not cancel an Apple subscription; the app links to Apple's subscription manager without requiring cancellation before deletion.
