Delete your ChoreRally account.

A parent can permanently delete an account directly in the app. Support can help if you cannot reach the in-app control.

Fastest option

Delete inside the app.

  1. Open ChoreRally and sign in to a parent profile.
  2. Open More, then Settings.
  3. Find Account & Privacy.
  4. Choose Delete ChoreRally Account.
  5. Enter the parent PIN, type DELETE, acknowledge the permanent action, and choose Delete Account Permanently.

The app waits for connected iCloud data to be removed, deletes the local account and associated family data, then displays an Account deleted confirmation. The household owner deletes the connected private family zone, profiles, chores, rewards, Chore Bucks history, photos, badges, requests, and activity. A caregiver who is not the owner deletes their own account, local copy, and shared access without deleting the owner's family.

Account and family records

The parent profile and associated household access are removed. For an owner, the connected private CloudKit family zone and its structured household data are deleted.

On device

Local app data and proof

In-app deletion removes the household's local records and managed proof photos from that device. Removing the app also clears app-private local data under the operating system's rules.

Limited retention

Support and legal records

Deletion-request correspondence may be retained only as needed to complete the request, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. It is not used for advertising.

Deletion is permanent. A JSON backup can be generated before deletion, but restoring that file later creates new local app data and does not restore deleted iCloud data. Deleting a ChoreRally account does not cancel an Apple subscription; the app links to Apple's subscription manager without requiring cancellation before deletion.
